Pharmacy software

In a pharmacy, stock is not a number — it is which batch, and which expiry date. Selling expired medicine is a risk; throwing away good medicine because nobody knew is a loss.

Batches and expiry

The same medicine can be held as separate batches, each with its own expiry and its own cost. Older batches go first, so the risk of expiry shrinks.

Suppliers and returns

Which medicine came from which supplier, at what price, and how much is outstanding — in one place. Send it back before expiry and both the stock and the payable correct themselves.

Credit and receipts

Regular customers on credit, instalment collection, and thermal or A4 receipts — whichever your printer takes.

Questions

What if the same medicine came at two prices?
They sit as two batches, and profit is worked out on what each actually cost.
Does expired stock drop off automatically?
No — that is your decision. Gonok tells you; you write it off, and the reason is recorded.
