Clothing shop software

In a clothing shop one product is many: the same shirt in four sizes and three colours. Stock is not one number then — it is twelve.

Sizes and colours

Each size-and-colour has its own stock, price and barcode. Which size has run out and which is sitting there are separate answers.

Seasonal offers

Eid and end-of-season discounts run between dates, across the shop or on chosen items. Struck-price stickers can be printed the night before, and the till price changes by itself when the offer starts.

Returns and exchanges

Exchanges are normal in clothing. A return puts the stock back, and giving another item instead of a refund lands correctly in the accounts.

Questions

What if a product has twenty variants?
No problem. Set them up once and choosing at the counter is enough.
What if a variant has no price?
The parent's price applies, so identical prices need not be typed per size.
