Inventory and stock management
How a product can be held
One product is often many: sizes, colours, models. Each with its own price, its own barcode and its own stock.
- Variants — separate stock and price by size, colour or model
- Batches and expiry, for medicine and food
- Serial or IMEI — every unit known individually
- True cost and profit on FIFO, not an estimate
Warned before it runs out
Set a level per product and Gonok tells you when it drops below — before the shelf is empty, not after.
What was the stock last month?
Gonok keeps a diary of every stock movement: when, how much, why, and which document caused it. So stock on any past date can be worked out, and when the count disagrees you can see where.
- Loss and found adjustments, with a reason
- A stock history per product
- Branch-to-branch transfers
Questions
- What if a product has no barcode?
- Gonok can mint one, and the label prints at any size.
- Can I bring old stock in?
- Products, customers and suppliers can be imported from a CSV file.
